The diffusion profiles can be easily converted to a global surface normal texture, but it is difficult to directly convert a texture into a kernel to perform the convolution. Fortunately, it is possible to invert the convolution equation to get a solution in kernel space. This is what we do in Green 2004. The diffuse scattering can be computed locally by using texture coordinates as render coordinates. We can also compute the diffuse scattering globally by using the geometry to exploit its 3D attributes for use in an efficient 3D convolution. Both approaches work, but the latter is more efficient due to the reduced amount of memory required.
Using diffuse scattering in a fully global way is not straight-forward because the global variance cannot be specified without additional information. One can specify the variance of the random number generator used for scattering, and this is a good thing since the variance of the samples can be changed from pixel to pixel (Bellaiche et al. 2004). The problem is that doing this requires an additional texture per pixel, which can be unwrapped to provide surface normals per pixel (only required for specular light source). Our diffusion profiles approximate the per-pixel scattering profiles in a global manner, without requiring an additional texture per pixel, and can thus be used in a fully global way.
Now we need to unwrap the mesh. If you have the 'UV/Image Editor' selected, we need to switch to the UV Editor. To do this, we need to go to the 3D viewport and press T. Now the 'UV/Image Editor' tab will appear. To unwrap the mesh, go to the 'UV/Image Editor' and select 'Unwrap'. Unwrap the mesh until you have a UV map of the mesh.
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
Hi Dave,I was able to get my English Indesign CS6 to switch to German. But there is one Problem. The moment I startet Indesign there is the error message that my trial version ends soon altough I bougt a regular Version with correct serial number by an adobe seller. Can anybody help me? 827ec27edc
